Executive Management Bill Cross Cross directs Marketron International's Toronto operations that develop, sell and support Marketron TV solutions for Canada. He brings more than 34 years of in-depth sales, marketing, purchasing and system administration experience in broadcast advertising to Marketron International. Prior to joining Marketron International, Cross spent more than 20 years in various positions at Alexander, Pearson and Dawson (APD), a leading broadcast sales representative firm. Cross served as Vice President for APD where he led a sales team that accounted for more than half of the company's revenues and drove marketing programs for multiple station accounts. Cross also served as Director of Systems and Administration for APD where he effectively streamlined office operations and implemented key computerized sales proposal and billing systems. During his tenure, Cross was also appointed Vice President and General Manager for Premiere Television Sales, a wholly owned subsidiary of APD, where he launched an operation across two offices that successfully delivered 16 million dollars in revenue in the first year of operation. Cross has also held sales and marketing positions at Stephens & Towndrow and All Canada Radio & Television. He has held the following professional memberships: The Broadcast Research Council of Canada, Sales and Marketing Executives International, Broadcast Executives Society, EDI Joint Committee for Broadcast and others. |
