As separate companies, Wicks Broadcast Solutions and Marketron have been first to market with almost every radio traffic innovation since the early 1970s. In 2006, the Wicks Group of companies combined these powerful technology companies to form Marketron Broadcast Solutions. Today, 48 of the top 50 US radio groups license Marketron Products.
