Marketron Appoints Tony Gaughan as SVP of Products and Chief Technology Officer

Oracle Veteran Brings Technology, Development and Leadership Expertise

July 28, 2010 - Hailey, ID - Marketron, the leading provider of business software solutions and services for the media industry, today announced the appointment of Tony Gaughan as Senior Vice President of Products and Chief Technology Officer. In this role, Tony will lead the company's overall technology direction, product development and provide the solution roadmap focused on delivering innovation, growth and value to media clients. Tony brings to Marketron over twenty years of experience in product development and executive management and joins the company from serenhipity, a mobile social networking company that he founded.

Tony has overseen the development of many successful technology products and solutions throughout his career. Prior to serenhipity, Tony served as Senior Vice President and Chief Products Officer at SGI, formerly known as Rackable Systems, where he led the company's overall product vision and development. Tony has also served as Vice President of Products and Services at Satmetrix, a customer experience management software company and Senior Vice President and General Manager of Unicenter at Computer Associates. For eleven years prior, Tony held positions of increasing responsibility at Oracle including Vice President of EnterpriseOne where he led the integration strategy for bringing together product lines from PeopleSoft and J.D. Edwards and Vice President of CRM where he was responsible for the strategy, development and rollout of Oracle's CRM suite of products.
