HAILEY, ID – September 16, 2015 – Marketron, the leading provider of business software solutions and services for the media industry, has released a new third party payment processing tool called Payments. This is part of the Marketron Traffic 7.2 revenue management system.
Payments is a service that enables payments made by advertisers and agencies through any third party payment processor, such as lockboxes, banks and credit cards to be automatically imported into Marketron A/R. It eliminates the time consuming process of manually entering and applying individual third party payments, improves accuracy and creates a more efficient overall workflow for a station’s business office.
In addition to Payments, there are several other new developments in Marketron 7.2 including: eInvoicing for multiple stations, improvements to the A/R menu, and the ability to un-generate a log, as well as the addition of a convenience fee option to the PayNow solution. Marketron Traffic Version 7.2 along with Payments and all enhanced features will be available in wide release later this fall.
“We are committed to providing an unparalleled product and service experience for our customers and know the only way to achieve this goal is to listen attentively to their needs,” said Jeff London, SVP of Client Services. “The features included in Marketron Traffic 7.2 are a direct result of these customer requests. Several very happy beta customers have shown that 7.2 hits the mark, and we are excited to roll these capabilities out to all of our clients.”
