35 Stations Installed; Business Managers Praise New Accounts Receivable Application

BCFM, Los Angeles-May 19, 2003—Marketron International today showcased Marketron 5, a major upgrade of its industry leading broadcast management software. This integrated suite of Sales, Traffic, Finance and Business Intelligence applications is designed to increase revenues, optimize inventory and enhance back-office efficiencies. The upgrade was first rolled out in January 2003 to select clients. Today, more than 35 leading broadcasters have installed Marketron 5 and are benefiting from its new functionality.

Marketron premiered the industry’s most advanced Accounts Receivable software with the release of Marketron 5. Developed entirely in J2EE, it integrates seamlessly with Marketron’s widely used Sales and Traffic applications. Marketron 5 also enhances existing applications with dozens of new features to boost overall performance, flexibility and analytic capabilities.

Marketron Accounts Receivable
Marketron’s new Accounts Receivable application connects the business department directly to the most current contract and spot information, thus optimizing the speed of invoicing, reporting and posting. Ultimate flexibility throughout the application enables broadcasters to create invoices, statements and reports tailored to their own accounting practices.

Other key features of Marketron Accounts Receivable include:

  • Multi-line invoicing, payments and adjustments that accommodate multiple stations, revenue types, tax schedules, salespeople, agency commissions and salesperson commissions.
