MARKETRON TV STATIONS NOW ABLE TO SEND AVAILS ELECTRONICALLY TO DDS AGENCIES TV Avail Manager Now Receiving Avails From Stations And RepsNew York, N.Y.—May 26, 2003—TV Avail Manager (TAM), DDS TV avail "inbox" program, lets buyers receive electronic avails from sellers, select which avails they wish to consider during the pre-buy process, and seamlessly upload those avails into the Buyer's Worksheet where they can complete pre-buy analysis and scheduling. Released by DDS one year ago, TAM currently receives avails from Proposer, DDS Reppak proposal product used by National Sales offices and stations at ABC, NBC, Univision and Fox Stations Sales. National reps, including Millennium Sales and Marketing, Eagle Television, Continental Television, Petry and Blair, also use Proposer. Effective April 1, 2003, stations using Marketrons TV Sales product (previously called TvScan Omega) can send avails to TAM. Sherri Lee, media director, DDS, states, “Previously, only reps and large station groups could send avails electronically. We are happy to welcome Marketron as a partner in our EDI initiatives.” “Both agencies and television stations win with this link between DDS and Marketron systems”" says Barry Bates, VP of Sales, Marketron TV Sales. “Stations will reap productivity benefits by sending avails electronically; salespeople will spend less time faxing, re-faxing and resolving discrepancies.”
