MARKETRON INTERNATIONAL WINS SUSQUEHANNA RADIO CORP. GROUP CONTRACT Marketron to Provide Broadcast Management Solutions to All Susquehanna Radio StationsBurlingame, Calif.—September 22, 2003—Marketron International announced a multi-year group-wide agreement with Susquehanna Radio Corp. (Susquehanna) to provide integrated sales, traffic, billing and business intelligence software to all Susquehanna stations. The 11th largest radio group in the United States cited Marketron’s client service, fully integrated platform and single point of accountability as critical factors in its decision. Susquehanna will upgrade all of its stations to the most current version of the software, Marketron 5. “Susquehanna is dedicated to providing outstanding service to our listeners, advertisers and shareholders,” said Joe Barlek, Senior Vice President, Controller of Susquehanna Radio Corp. “Marketron, with its fully integrated broadcast management solution, has proven an essential partner in this endeavor. Our decision to renew our contract is a testament to the value of the system and the relationship.” Marketron Radio: Connecting the Broadcast Enterprise The Marketron Radio solution integrates all departments and business processes across a station into a single system and database. Integration enables the sales, traffic and business departments to more easily share information, better optimize inventory and increase revenues. Storing sales and inventory information in a common database allows for real-time access to data. Corporate managers can check numbers for individual stations or the entire group from their desktop; sales managers make informed approval decisions in seconds; traffic directors manage available inventory more effectively because they have the most complete information. Connecting all departments electronically also eliminates redundant data entry and associated errors. Salespeople spend more time selling; traffic managers focus on optimizing inventory; station revenues increase. “Susquehanna’s decision to expand their group contract with Marketron marks a significant milestone for our company and this partnership,” said Mike Jackson, CEO of Marketron International. “As group-wide adoption of the Marketron solution gains momentum among leading broadcasters, this renewal from one of the first groups to standardize on our systems serves as tremendous validation. We’re honored to have earned Susquehanna’s confidence and look forward to delivering Marketron 5’s trademark revenue and productivity benefits across all of its stations.” Susquehanna began upgrading its stations to Marketron 5 in August 2003.
