Marketron Broadcast Solutions Receives SAS 70 Certification

January 23, 2008 - Marketron Broadcast Solutions announces the receipt of SAS 70 Type II certification from Moss Adams LLP. The Type II audit tested Marketron’s business operations and general computing controls as they relate to the Marketron Hosted System Platform (HSP). The Type II audit investigates specific control objectives defined in the areas of: Product function, organization structure, governance and administration, physical and environmental controls, logical access controls, system availability and performance.

SAS 70 is the authoritative guidance that allows service organizations to disclose their control activities and processes in a uniform reporting format. A SAS 70 certification signifies that an organization had its control objectives and control activities examined by an independent accounting and auditing firm. A formal report, including the auditor's opinion (Service Auditor's Report), is issued to the service organization at the conclusion of a SAS 70 examination.
