Spot Placement Warnings
When manually placing spots onto a log using Log Editor, you may be warned if the placement violates some of the log spot placement parameters. In each case, you can choose to place the spot anyway, or you can cancel the placement and leave the spot on the Bump List. The warnings you see are controlled by settings on the Log Editor Options, accessed from the Log Editor Log Menu.
- Advertiser Conflict - You will be warned when you attempt to place a spot on an Avail that is too close to another spot for the same advertiser.
- Avail Target - You will be warned when you attempt to place a spot on an Avail that was intended for another Avail type.
- AvailSet Length - You will be warned when you attempt to place a spot that will result in an AvailSet being overfilled.
- Date Range - You will be warned when you attempt to place a spot on a log day that does not match the target date range of the spot.
- Event or Time Target - You will be warned when you attempt to place a spot outside of its Time or Event target position.
- Product Code Conflict - You will be warned when you attempt to place a spot where a product code conflict with one or more spots would occur.
- Spot Pattern Separation - You will be warned when you attempt to place a spot that’s closer than allowed to another spot from the same order line. The allowable separation is set on the individual order line.
