NOTE - In order to convert a sales order to a contract, you must be granted specific rights in Setup Editor.When an order is first entered into the Marketron system, it is saved as a sales order. Sales orders are unapproved, unscheduled orders that appear in the Sales Order Details tab of Document Manager. Before an order can be scheduled in Traffic, the order must be converted from a sales order to a contract. A contract is an order ready for scheduling that appears in the Contract Details tab of Document Manager.

NOTE - An order can be converted to a contract without first being approved. This allows the Traffic staff to convert orders and schedule them in situations where a manager is unavailable.
Orders can be converted in Sales Order or Document Manager.
