Home Ribbon

The Home Ribbon contains the following command buttons:

Create Order - Click this button to launch the Sales Order module and open a new, blank sales order.

Open - After selecting a proposal, sales order, or contract from the Order List, click this button to open it in Sales Order.

Import - Click this button to import orders from third-party vendors.

Old Version - From the Contract Details tab, select an order that has been revised one or more times and click this button to open a window that will allow you to select which previous version to open.

Notes - After selecting a proposal, sales order or contract from the Order List, click this button to attach a note to it. This message will show up at the bottom of the order details area, as well as on the Remarks tab of the order's header.

Rename Order - After selecting a sales order or contract from the Order List, click this button to open a window where you will be able to type in a new name for the order.

Delete Order - After selecting a proposal or sales order from the Order List, click this button to delete the order.

Print - After selecting a proposal, sales order, or contract from the Order List, click this button to print it.

note NOTE - Printing an order through the Document Manager module is not the same as printing a broadcast contract/confirmation. Document Manager is used most often to print orders for internal filing purposes. The broadcast contract/confirmation that is sent to clients is generated and printed from the Reports module, usually by members of the Traffic Department.

Print Preview - After selecting a proposal, sales order or contract from the Order List, click this button to see a print preview of it.

Miss Spot(s) - From within the Notifications tab, click this button to change a "missed-unresolved" spot to a "missed-no-makegood" spot.

Makegood Spots(s) - From within the Notifications tab, click this button to make good the selected spot by entering a makegood line in the order.

Refresh Notifications - Click this button to refresh the notifications in the Notifications tab.

Close Notification - After selecting a notification from the Notifications tab, click this button to remove it from view.

Close Resolved - Click this button to close all resolved notifications; this includes: missed-no-makegood, missed-with-makegood, and bumped spots.

Refresh - Click this button to refresh the Document Manager screen. When you refresh, the system takes another snapshot of the orders in your database and updates them accordingly. Because orders are constantly being entered, approved, and converted to contracts, you should refresh your screen often.

Credit - Click this button to display the Credit Management screen.

View Export - Click this button to view the status of exported alternative revenue lines and manage the associated media.

Convert to Contract - For authorized users only, click this button to convert a selected sales order into a contract.
