Launch KitWeek 1: Baseline and setup
Before your markets can move, you need to know where each one stands, which are leading, which are lagging and what needs to happen first. Get clear on your numbers, confirm ownership and lock in your calendar.
Week 1 is all about getting clear on where you stand
Before your markets can move toward electronic payment, you need to know your starting point: which markets are leading, which are lagging and what needs to happen first. This week is about building that foundation so everything that follows has direction and accountability behind it.
3 quick steps for Week 1
- 1
Pull your baseline numbers
Two metrics matter: your Electronic Invoicing percentage and your PayNow merchant payment percentage. If you need help pulling them, your Marketron Client Success Manager can assist. And if the numbers are lower than you’d like, that’s exactly why the program exists. Low numbers are an opportunity, not a failure.
- 2
Identify your champions and your lagging markets
Champion markets will mentor the ones still ramping up. For markets that are behind, lead with coaching, not pressure. Your job is to give them clarity and tools, and the numbers will follow.
- 3
Send the kickoff communications
Start the program with a clear and consistent message from leadership. Review, customize and send Template A and Template B to the appropriate audiences. They introduce the program, explain its objectives and set expectations across the organization.
Kickoff communication templates
This resource includes four communication templates for the rollout of your electronic invoicing and payment standardization initiative. For Week 1, focus on Templates A and B to build alignment and momentum across all markets. The remaining templates are used later in the rollout as reinforcement communications.
Account executive communication templates
Ready-to-use templates help your AEs communicate the transition to electronic invoicing directly with their advertiser and agency clients. Customize them with your market-specific information and share them with your AEs. Consistent communication from your sales team helps clients understand the benefits, know what information is required and be prepared for the transition.
