Months 2–5: Execution and Reinforcement

This is where results become visible, and where accountability keeps every market moving.

The kickoff is behind you. The standard is in place. Months 2 through 5 are about one thing: making sure it holds across every market, every month, without exception.

Three things drive this phase.

Monthly Corporate Scorecard Review

Every month, every market’s numbers are on the table. EI percentage. PayNow merchant payment volume. Outstanding exceptions. Corporate reviews, follows up on what’s off track, and recognizes what’s working.

This is the accountability engine for the entire program. Markets that are on track, stay on track because the scorecard makes progress visible. Markets that are behind get support and a clear expectation to close the gap before the next review.

Don’t wait for the monthly meeting to know where you stand. Track your two numbers weekly so the scorecard is never a surprise.

Champion Markets Continue Mentoring

The mentoring relationships that started in Weeks 3 and 4 stay active through this entire phase. Lagging markets are still working through challenges such as resistant advertisers, AE hesitation, and workflow questions, while your champion markets have already solved most of them.

Keep those conversations happening. A monthly check-in between Business Managers, a shared note on what’s working, a quick call when something gets stuck. The goal is to make sure no market is solving the same problem in isolation.

Targeted Advertiser Outreach

Your exception log tells you exactly who to call. Every account still on checks is documented: who they are, how long they’ve been there, and which AE owns the relationship. This is your priority list for Months 2 through 5.

Work through it systematically. Prioritize by volume. Reach out personally. Use the tools: guest checkout links, pre-payments, and the collections tool to make switching as easy as possible for the advertiser. For the accounts that continue to resist, escalate to the GM at the 60-day mark.

What Good Looks Like by Month 5

  • Monthly scorecard reviews run on a fixed cadence
  • Every market is making measurable progress toward the EI% and PayNow payment volume goals established during Week 1. A recommended benchmark is 90% EI and 40% PayNow payment volume.
  • Exception log is current and being actively maintained
  • Champion and lagging markets are in regular contact
  • Top check-paying accounts have been personally contacted by AEs
