Marketing Operations Manager

Marketron is looking for a Marketing Operations Manager to execute marketing programs, ensure efficient marketing data flow, and develop reports and dashboards for our growing organization. Email marketing is crucial, but this role will also play a critical role in managing customer data and how it’s exchanged across the organization.

This position is ideal for a constantly curious problem solver who loves a challenge and wants to have an impact. We need a strategic thinker who has an eye for the details and is willing to roll up your sleeves to try new things.

You’ll be the sole marketing ops person on the team, giving you the opportunity to build a world-class program from the ground up.

How will you make a difference?

Marketing execution:

  • Daily management of Pardot in support of marketing campaigns and communications; maintain strong integration between Pardot/Salesforce and other systems
  • Work with stakeholders across the organization to ensure customer communication is best-in-class regardless of the platform it is sent from
  • Design workflows and templates
  • Execute ABM, nurture and triggered campaigns within Pardot
  • Collaborate to implement campaign forms, landing pages, emails, webinars, and other technical integrations critical to the marketing engine
  • Embrace a test-and-learn mindset, A/B testing and best practices to optimize all aspects of email campaigns.

Tools and integrations:

  • Support system integration and management of marketing technology including webinar platforms, survey tools, CMS, etc.
  • Work closely with Salesforce administrator on CRM strategy

Reporting and analytics:

  • Establish and deliver marketing reporting, dashboards and analysis on performance, conversions and effectiveness.
  • Develop a closed-loop feedback process that provides insight into the effectiveness of marketing processes for better qualification and engagement.

Database strategy:

  • Data mine from prospects and customers in CRM to formulate segmented communications lists
  • Responsible for data cleanliness strategy including managing unsubscribes/opt-outs, and plan to improve data
  • Import lists and data from other platforms

 

Qualifications, Required Skills, Experience and Talents

  • BS or BA in a marketing, technical or business discipline
  • 3+ years of marketing operations experience within a B2B environment
  • Strong marketing automation experience (Pardot a plus)
  • Salesforce experience is a must and experience with WordPress, ChurnZero, GoTo Webinar, SurveyGizmo, Asana, ZoomInfo, Salesloft, Calendly and other tools a plus
  • Demonstrated proficiency with database design concepts, modelling, and segmentation
  • Lead generation and customer campaign/program experience and an understanding of marketing funnel metrics and life-cycle processes
  • Email marketing experience, including deliverability, compliance, split testing and optimization
  • Possess an analytical mind and recommend actions/changes based on insightful data mining
  • Excellent organizational skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills

Product Marketing Manager – Digital Products

Marketron is looking for a passionate, savvy Product Marketing Manager – digital products that will propel growing business. The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for core product messaging, sales tools and enablement, and product launches – all in support of growing the adoption of Marketron NXT.

Experience in SaaS and digital advertising are keys to success for this role. You’ll own product marketing strategy for our digital products and help set the strategic direction for future integrated products.

Your experience identifying key market trends, buying behaviors, and opportunities will define go-to-market strategies, messaging, positioning, and tactics used by a cross-functional team including sales, marketing, customer operations and product management.

You will create sales tools, training and materials to ensure our partners on the sales team’s ability to sell and support these products, as well as being able to up-sell and cross-sell related offerings.

To be successful in this role, you must possess strong marketing and communications skills. Moving and thinking rapidly with an attention to detail and a sharp eye for quality, along with the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into benefits is crucial.

How you’ll make a difference:

  • Identify customer needs, key personas, market trends/competitive landscape and build differentiated positioning and messaging for Marketron’s products
  • Work closely with product management and technical teams to understand and translate technical and product features to benefits focused messaging
  • Develop compelling product/feature narratives with clear, consistent and compelling messaging through a strong customer focus
  • Work with content marketing to translate messaging into creative and high-impact customer-facing materials such as solution sheets, infographics, customer emails, trainings, knowledge articles, blog posts and case studies to clearly communicate success stories and best practices in coordination with the content marketing team
  • Gather and analyze competitive data, create and maintain sales-facing competitive battlecards for key competitors, and infuse content and messaging with competitive differentiation
  • Conduct market and/or customer research to understand industry trends and identify opportunities.
  • Plan and execute new product adoption activities using effective tools and techniques to maximize market penetration and sales impact
  • Accountable to a cross-functional team to ensure a marketing campaign has everything required from knowledge transfer, analysis, marketing plan, content creation management, execution, and measurement
  • Set clear, measurable product marketing goals, track and take accountability for business results and conduct cross-functional post-mortems to create a cycle of continuous improvement.
  • Analysis of marketing opportunity, ability to identify marketing targets and sub-targets, competitive analysis, and identifying new potential solutions or offers
  • Manage multiple programs and juggle various stages of products

 

Who You Are:

  • 4+ years of B2B experience in product marketing including experience with product launches and established product portfolios
  • Experience working cross-functionally with diverse teams including: sales, marketing, product management and engineering
  • Proven ability to partner with product management on bringing a service to market (either new or existing)
  • Ability to distill complex information into simple and meaningful insights and messaging
  • Demonstrate ability to analyze the market and dive in research with high-degree of intellectual curiosity
  • Experience with pricing strategy a plus
  • Curious, confident, collaborative and proactive
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple time-sensitive, cross-functional projects simultaneously
  • Communication and writing skills; be able to deliver marketing copy and content, at a fast pace
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple work-streams to deliver on time
  • Experience with Sirius Decisions and/or Pragmatic Marketing models preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism, communications, business or technology field
